Multi-optional feasibility study along with aplication form for EU Fund - I&EOP 2014- 2020 and technical consultancy services for the investment: "The extension of the President Lech Kaczynski LNG Terminal in Swinoujscie".
The program consists of four elements:
The aim of the expansion of the Swinoujscie gas terminal is to ensure the security of natural gas supplies to Poland and the Baltic States by diversifying and promoting the new transport routes in the region.
The LNG terminal has a significant impact on the independence of our country and the neighbouring countries from gas supplies provided by the East, as well as it fits into the three pillars of the European Union energy policy, i.e:
sustainable development
improving security of supply
boosting competitiveness
Scope of work
Undertake the technical feasibility study to develop the design basis and assess the constructability issues associated with the proposed extension of the new LNG Import Terminal at Swinoujscie.
It covers 4 main aspects:
The increasing of the nominal regasification capacity of the terminal from 5 to 7.5 billion Nm3/year
The addition of a third LNG storage tank
The addition of a small ship LNG reloading functionality
The addition of ORVs
The study includes also:
Business analysis of the regional LNG market
Legal evaluation of the proposed new expansion works
Impact of the extended installation on the environment
Full feasibility study documentation according to EU funding rules
Technical Consultancy services provided for Polskie LNG, included preparation of base documentation (FEED) and select the contractor for the expansion of the LNG Terminal in Swinoujscie.
