Antea Polska S.A. and its partner "PECTORE-ECO" Sp. z o.o. signed an agreement with the Ministry of Infrastructure for the revision and update of the Action Programme to reduce water pollution by nitrates from agricultural sources and to prevent further pollution.
The objective of the task is to carry out comprehensive analyses as part of the review of the Action Programme, which will be the basis for the development of the draft Programme update together with the strategic environmental impact assessment.
As part of the order, there will be carried out scientific and research work verifying the adequacy of existing measures to achieve the objectives of the Nitrates Directive. As a result of the review, it will also identify actions that need to be updated. The next step is to develop a draft update of the Action Programme, for which we will conduct a strategic environmental impact assessment and public consultations. The consultations will be supported by information and promotion activities. And after the final version of the Action Programme is approved, promotion materials will be prepared to inform farmers about the changes in the regulations.
