The development of design documentation for dredging work and repositioning of the bottom reinforcement in the section of the Holenderski Quay to achieve a depth of -13.5 is a task that Antea Polska S.A. will be carrying out in the Port of Gdynia.

Scope of services

The detailed scope of services includes:

  • carrying out an analysis of the quay construction documentation; 
  • carrying out an analysis of the hydrographic documentation; 
  • carrying out a detailed survey and investigation of the networks and utilities, as well as a detailed analysis of the archival documentation; 
  • carrying out a detailed geotechnical surveys, preceded by the development of appropriate geological projects and obtaining the relevant approvals and permits;
  • preparation of the topographic map for design purposes preceded by an analysis of the geodetic documentation and verification of the actual situation on the site;
  • preparation of the application for a decision on land development conditions and a permit to erect and develop structures and equipment in Polish maritime areas; 
  • preparation of the water legal survey and obtaining the Water-Law Permit;  
  • obtaining of all necessary decisions and agreements enabling the design and execution of the investment; 
  • preparation of the land or plot development design, architectural and construction design as well as engineering and detailed design; 
  • preparation of the schedule of works, taking into account the operation of the quay during the construction works and protection against emergency situations as well as the most favourable solutions for the marine environment, together with the cost statement; 
  • obtaining a building permit;
  • developing of the detailed design along with the infrastructure;
  • development of the technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works; 
  • preparation of the bills of quantities and investor's cost estimates;
  • preparation of the draft responses to queries from potential contractors regarding the construction works specification;
  • providing author's supervision during construction works.

The Holenderskie Quay in the Port of Gdynia

The Holenderskie Quay is used by the Dutch company HES Gdynia Bulk Terminal Sp. z o.o. The terminal provides bulk cargo handling and storage services, such as coal and coke, grain and feed, and other dry and liquid bulk cargoes, including chemicals, oil and petroleum products.
