In November, in the Port of Gdansk, the commissioning of two renovated quays, as part of the ongoing project of revitalization and modernization of the fairway, took place. Antea Poland participated in this project as Owner’s Engineer

The investment was completed as one of the tasks within the project: "Modernization of the fairway, development of quays and improvement of sailing conditions in the Inner Port in Gdansk".

Stage I of the project included construction work on a total length of 286 meters, including the construction of 174 meters of the Obroncy Poczty Polskiej Quay and 112 meters of the Mew Quay. Thanks to the cooperation of all parties involved in the project, it was completed in accordance with the schedule. 

- The timely completion of works is the result of good cooperation between the General Contractor, the Owner’s Engineer and the Ordering Party - emphasized Marcin Osowski, Vice-President of the Board and Director of Infrastructure in the Port of Gdansk Authority S.A.

Antea Poland has been cooperating with the Port of Gdansk for many years providing services within the scope of: Owner’s Engineer, investment supervision, elaboration of project documentation and technical specification as well as within obtaining administrative decisions.

The other projects complited for the Port of Gdansk

  • The elaboration of design documentation for the expansion of the Dworzec Drzewny Quay on a section of about 1220 m, the Rudowe III Quay of about 232.5 m, the Administracyjne Quay of 18.0 m, and the Weglowe Quay on a section of 542 m
  • The elaboration of design documentation for the reconstruction of Bytomskie Quay on a section of about 204 m
  • The elaboration of design documentation for the reconstruction of Szczecinskie Quay
