Construction of a cogeneration system at ZC Czeczott

The investment includes installation of high-efficiency cogeneration system consisting of one gas engine and using it for production of heat and electricity in cogeneration. Currently, hard coal is used and electricity for own needs is drawn entirely from the distribution network. After installation of the cogeneration system, all of ZC Czeczot's own electricity needs will be covered by the cogeneration system. The remaining amount of energy will be fed into the distribution network.

Antea Polska will be in charge of i. a.:

• Drawing up project documentation - complete Construction Design
• Obtaining all necessary opinions, approvals, expert opinions for design solutions
• Obtaining the final building permit decision
• Preparation of task execution valuation
• Author's supervision

Czeczott Heating Plant was built in the 1970's. The boiler house is equipped with 3 water boilers, WR-5, WR-10, WR-25 with total installed capacity of 46.5 MW.

Heat distribution networks, leading out from the main heat substation in the boiler house, supply heat as hot water to the mine premises, residential areas and public utility facilities.

Operated heat distribution networks and external recipient installations with total length of approx. 17 kilometers supply almost 70 collective and individual heat substations.
